I am a now retired MD and radiologist, sticking to my beekeeping. In the past I used to work as a merchant sailor, house building engineer, cab driver, croupier and newspaper journalist. I was born i Sweden in 1944.
In leisure time I like to drive motorbikes, travel, sail, dive and fish. Together with my wonderful wife I have driven a vintage motorbike with sidecar 5000 km along Silk Road through China and its biggiest deserts, visited Kashmir and other parts of India, gone interrailing through Europe twice from Scotland to Istanbul, through Greece and Italy, circumnavigated our planet with stops in Hong Kong, Australia, New Zeeland, Fiji and the four biggest cities in the USA, and recently spent time in Bangladesh and among game animals in Tanzania.
I am since 1978 married to Petronella. My children Markus, Marja, Zeth, Catja and Alexandra are born from 1965 to 1982. My grandchildren Kajsa, Stina, Julia, Stella, Samuel, Anton, Hallie, Rufus, Emelie and Marion are born from 1997 to 2017.
Ready to go anywhere on this bike. Petronella behind me.

Another relaxing thing I sometimes do in leisure time is fishing salmon and trout. (Photo T. Ronningen)
